At Pineapple, we believe in investing in young people and giving them as many opportunities to get into the audio, podcasting and radio industries as possible.
We've mentored and supported young people at Pineapple over the last few years both formally and informally - from the Student Radio Association mentoring scheme, to hiring young talented people, as well as working with and hiring through the government Kickstarter scheme.
A major part of my journey into the audio industry 15 years ago was being supported and mentored by people who believed in me; from my first internship at GWR FM, to freelancing across the country for the BBC, Heart and Capital, to my role as an Audio Producer for the Heart Network in London - and pushing me to build on that and start Pineapple.
